Banquet Room
The Banquet facility can accommodate up to 350 plus people for events based upon setup. It is a 100% smoke-free. The entire banquet room will be assigned for all receptions based on size of event. As other groups may be using the same banquet room as you, prior to or following your event, please strictly adhere to the agreed upon times in the contract. Setup of all events includes white linen tablecloths and napkins. China and stemware will be provided for the head table. All guests will receive china and plastic champagne glasses excluding Al a Carte, Appetizer and Sandwich Buffets, which will be provided with paper napkins and disposable chinet unless otherwise specified. Flatware will be provided to all guests at all times.
Food and Beverage Policy
A guaranteed final count is required no later than two (2) weeks prior to each meal function. If a guarantee is not submitted, the preliminary number indicated on the contract will be considered the correct and guaranteed number. The account will be charged for the number guaranteed or the number actual served, whichever is greater. Final menu selections are due two (2) weeks prior to the function. Food and beverage will be charged based on the amount ordered or the amount consumed, whichever is greater. Food and beverages not provided by the banquet facilities are prohibited. All food and beverages must be purchased and provided through the on-site banquet facilities. Wisconsin Board of Health regulations and licensing restrictions dictate that no food or beverage may be brought in or taken out of the hotel’s event room or bar with the exception of the wedding cake. All food and beverage are subject to a 17% service charge plus 5.5% sales tax to their total amount. Any cash or host bar will be assessed a $50 per bartender fee.
Wisconsin law prohibits the sale and/or serving of alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21 years. The staff reserves the right to refuse beverage service to any person without legal age verification (21 years) or anyone who appears intoxicated. Individuals consuming alcoholic beverages at the Bridges Restaurant, Lounge & Banquet Center MUST be 21 years of age. We do not serve anyone under the age of 21. This policy is without exception.
Guarantee and Cancellation
The deposit is due upon signing of the contract. It is non-refundable and will be applied to the final balance. There is no penalty to transfer the event to a different date within 12 months. The remaining balance is due at the end of the event.
Decorations
No tacks, nails, glitter, rice, confetti or silly string. No smoke machine. Nothing can be hung from the ceiling or attached to the walls without permission. All candles must be in a container and a deposit may be required when/if candles are in use. The banquet room is not guaranteed to be available for decorating until the morning of the event. If the banquet room was not used the day before, decorating may be done earlier.
Wedding Cake
The cutting and serving of the cake is the responsibility of the client. If requested, the banquet facility can cut and serve the cake for an additional charge. All cakes and/or deserts brought into the Bridges Restaurant, Lounge & Banquet Center must be baked by a commercially licensed and insured baker.
Entertainment
Events featuring live music, DJ. etc. may play until 12 A.M. and the room must be cleared out by 12:30 A.M. Entertainment must provide their own equipment, be booked by the client and are the client’s sole responsibility. If the volume from the amplification system disturbs other hotel guests, we reserve the right to lessen the volume.
Payment
Final payment is required at the end of the event.
Security
Bridges Restaurant, Lounge & Banquet Center does not assume responsibility for damage or loss of equipment, merchandise, or articles left unattended in public areas or event rooms. The client assumes all responsibility for any damages caused to a function room by his or her guests.
